fun things to do in front of nerdy boys
intentionally mix up zelda and link
refer to anime as “japanese kids cartoons”
pronounce pokemon as pokey-mon
respond to everything they say with “oh yeah my baby brother likes that!”
I am a nerdy boy and I assure you the only reactions you would get from this are crying or outbursts of rage
you act like your tears aren’t EXACTLY what i want

Bcs literally literally literally literally why not just use the term invented specifically for female humans; women. Why reduce us to nothing more than a biological term when there is literally a word available there to use?
Let me try and use an analogy, it’s like referring to your mother as ‘woman’, it’s rude because even though your mother is a woman, she’s your mother, so you need to use the specific term available for her otherwise you’re reducing her status for no reason other than to insult her. Apply this logic to using the term female when you could use the word woman.
When you decide to call a woman a female, you’re reducing her to nothing more than biological terms that are in no way exclusive to human beings, any animal under the sun can be referred to as a female. You’re literally reducing our status for no reason other than to be rude. It’s dehumanising. Honestly. I have never in my life had any one irl refer to me as a female bcs I think we all know deep down it’s a shitty thing to do. Literally, imagine you walk into a shop and someone is like ‘this female here will help you’, nobody fucking says that. Men only use it when they’re trash-talking women, usually when they’re being misogynistic fucks and making gross generalisations about us.
It’s so subtle but it’s so important that you look out for tweets or tumblr posts made by fuckboys who start it with ‘females will be like…’
Also women shouldn’t have to explain shit, if a woman says she doesn’t want you referring to her as a female, just don’t do it. It’s not like there isn’t various other respectful terms you can use instead so what is the big issue? Why are men so eager to use the dehumanising term knowing full well many women don’t like it?
yes! yes! yes!
